There were parts of Terre Blanche where I kept reaching for my phone because the grounds were so photogenic, and parts where I was very happy to put it away. The spa belongs in the second category.
It sits a little apart from the main hotel areas, so getting there involves a walk or a golf cart ride. I liked that separation. By the time I arrived, it felt as though I had gone somewhere rather than simply taken an elevator downstairs.

What is the spa at Terre Blanche like?
The Spa at Terre Blanche is a large 3,200 square meter wellness facility with pools, sauna, hammam, fitness and treatment spaces. The indoor pool area reminded me a little of old Roman baths, but what I appreciated even more were the outdoor relaxation areas.
The whole resort is embedded in nature, and the spa uses that well. Sitting outside surrounded by greenery gave me more of the serenity I wanted from Provence than a complicated schedule of treatments would have.
This is the sort of spa where I would leave time before or after an appointment rather than arrive exactly on time and run back out. The setting is part of the experience.

What about the main pool?
The infinity pool was one of my favorite places at the resort. It is surrounded by the Provençal landscape, and several restaurant areas are conveniently close, which makes it very easy for a pool morning to become lunch and then somehow remain a pool afternoon.
I am comfortable with this outcome.
For families, that convenience matters. Moving children from pool to room to restaurant and back can turn a relaxing day into an administrative exercise. Here, that part of the resort felt easy.

Is there enough to do if you do not want to leave?
Yes, but I would not measure Terre Blanche by how many activities we can collect. Golf is the obvious one, and the resort also offers racket sports and can arrange experiences on and off property. During my visit, pickleball was another option that immediately made me think about groups who increasingly choose vacations around where they can play.
The better question is whether you can enjoy a day without a major plan. I could. Walk a different path. Read by the pool. Go to the spa. Have lunch. Take a golf lesson if curiosity wins. The estate is large enough that staying put does not feel like confinement.

What does a slower Provence stay actually look like?
It does not have to mean doing nothing. One of my three days included Cannes. Another took us into wine country. We also had the perfume workshop and private villa dinner. The slower pace came from not having to change hotels or organize every hour.
That is an important distinction for me. Luxury is not an empty itinerary. It is having enough flexibility that a beautiful afternoon does not have to be interrupted because the schedule says we should be somewhere else.
Terre Blanche gives us room for that. The resort is large, but the experience can be very quiet. I would build in at least one day where the hardest decision is whether to walk to the spa or call the golf cart.
